Muffs work, but it makes a big mess in the garage. (Easy fix for me as I have a sloped floor/drain. ) A buddy of mine uses a sawed off garbage can to submerge his lower unit. Seems to work. Another tip - keep a 5 gallon bucket handy to catch what comes out of the pee hole. Or you could just run the boat on the driveway...
