Hiya,

Depending on a few things, I would say with 2 people, their gear and full tank of gas, 35 is probably close. The 1750 can take a 125 if memory serves me correctly, so reaching 40 with the 90 alone would be on the real top high of things.

Couple of questions for you. What are your RPMs when you are alone with just your gear and full of fuel? Reason I ask is that if you are over or under pitched you might find performance is lacking because of set up. I have some ideas to help maybe gain you some speed, but having some numbers will definitely help. So...if you can supply these numbers:

max rpm by specification
Gear ratio of that particular motor
Max RPMs and speed you get with just your gear and full tank of gas
