These things keep getting more thirsty: fully 2-3x more draw than just 10 years ago.
HDS10 g1 = 1.0 amps
1199 = 1.3 amps
Onix 10 = 2.5 amps
HDS12 g3 w/SS= 2.75 amps
Helix 12 g2n SI = 3.0 amps
In that same time, the batteries and wiring in most boats have stayed the same - and especially since the cranking battery included in many new boats is small in order to save them money, lots of 27 series out there, even some 24 series.

I had a similar issue with my bow unit shutting down when starting the motor - it's farther away so there's loss over the wire that increases the problem. Upsizing my main battery to an AGM 31 took care of it completely.

As Will mentioned, the Onix units are notorious for this shut-down, and they have a long start-up cycle so it's a big pain. They did address it with a software update so be sure you're current on that.

And when it's said and done, running multiple units with this kind of draw is going to use up more juice, so you might need...more juice.
- Check your wires to make sure they're big enough to carry the load efficiently.
- Make sure your battery is topped off with fluids, etc.
- Consider your total draw through the day, and shut down things you don't need running 2x Onix = 5 amps!, the 360, radio, lights (non-LEDs are one of the biggest draws in your boat), livewell pumps, etc.
- Use a main battery with as much reserve capacity as possible.
- Napa Marine Starting 27 = 182 minutes @ 25 amps
- Napa Marine Dual Purpose 27 = 150 minutes @ 25 amps
- Duration AGM Dual Purpose 31 = 200 minutes @ 25 amps (This is what I have, same as listed above by BNelson)
