Jeff does have a point about how with a new boat you know how it was taken care of from the get go. In the 90s I was looking to get a new vehicle but one of the board members at the bank I worked at told me about a great deal he had on his used car inventory. It was a Chevy Blazer that had less than 6,000 miles, had never been titled, driven by GM executive, full warranty. And a really good price. You could not tell it from new. We bought it and about a week after the warranty expired it started to fall apart. Worst vehicle I have ever owned, traded it in with less than 50,000 on it. Shortly before that I had ordered a new Chevy 4 wheel drive truck, just the way I wanted it. Drove that truck for 18 years and loved it.
