I run a 521c ranger and can't say anything bad about it. Big water, no problem. Point A to Point B in no time. Casting is a dream. Trolling I don't do it. I fish big water. I would say smaller lakes 1k-3k you could get by with a esox mag. I've had two and loved it for that type of water. But when you're running the north and south end of lac Seul, a 250 evinrude g2 is the ticket.
