Location: Contrarian Island		yes, Lowrance has side imaging comparable to hbirds, I'm in a facebook lowrance group and what I learned was to get images comparable to the Hbird Mega imaging you have to have the 3d module and 3d transducer.... guys were posting pics from their gen 3 hds 12s that looked pretty darn close to, if not the same, as H Birds mega imaging.... but, you have to have the 3d module and 3d transducer, which together are about 800 bux...
