There have been a number of postings on the transducers for this type of unit, it kind of makes me nervous about doing it myself. What does it cost to have it professionally done? I do a lot of do it yourself projects, just finished adding an electrical circuit, outside outlet and a new exterior light to my storage garage but not sure about this. The one advantage of having it professionally done is you can take it back and have them do it right if it doesn't work
if you're doing that type of work, installing this type of stuff should be like tying your shoes. drill a couple holes, mount a transducer, and plug the stuff in. about as easy as it gets
