I have the tiller version. No rear deck and I don't want one. Plenty of room to stand and cast without it. Have fished in a dual console 1890 with the deck extension. Cockpit gets a bit small for my liking.
Does add a lot of deck space and storage.

I'm in the SW Metro if you want to see a G-series tiller. Same boat minus the console (s).
