If I should get the Bird and someday update my HDS7 on dash to a Helix with Sidescan, will I be able to split screen the front bow Helix and see Sidescan from the rear on the bow unit??


Yes, you can see the SI and DI views of the other unit connected to the network, even if the unit you're viewing it on does not have SI or DI. Big plus to save bucks if you don't plan on having a separate SI or DI transducer at the bow.
