Location: Eastern Ontario		Gen 2 and 3 are compatible If you are only linking 2 units via ethernet cable your LSS2 box is not required as with gen 3 it is built in. The number of units you can link would depend on how many ethernet ports your new gen 3 has larger units have more ports.

Lowrance units will not link with a Terova. If your Terova is Ipilot link and not just Ipilot you may be better off selling your Lowrance and buying birds
