Running an additional sonar transducer on the bow mount tm like ulterra is not a clean finish. Di is not required for anyone. Di will not show you bait and or fish as easy as 2 d sonar that is built in and is a clean finish. No wires, zip ties, transducer for weeds to snag or tm operating to break or be hindered by.

My recomendation is a 10" 2d/GPS (gen 1) bow
And a 10-12" si,di,2d /GPS gen2 mega imaging at the wheel.

9" is the same dimensions for the housing and a smaller screen with fewer pixels than the 10". Larger screens are easier to see especially 6' away. Like standing and cast get at the bow. And as said seeing si images larger makes it easier. Also looking at maps is the benefit of size.



Yes, after all my gatherings this pretty much sums it up. I'm going to look for a deal for two 10's. I'm not sure i need to spend several hundred $$ more for a 12". The 9 would probably be fine, but 10 is such a nice rounded number ha
