My dad's last boat was a 1600 fury. Had a 40hp console.Nice little boat. He bought it when he was 80 for its ease of handling. Comfortable boat to fish out of. His words were, " Perfect old timer's boat. I'm done fighting this lake (mille lacs) when it's rough". Lightweight easy boat to launch and load.
Edit..... He'd traded in his big Lund fisherman with the intention of not testing the pond anymore.
