Location: St. Lawrence River		I too recommend a 16'. It's still a small manageable boat but it will be so much better in waves and will have pretty decent stability. I've got a 16'9 Lund Tiller, it's pretty light very easy to maneuver alone. 83" beam it's stable as heck.
