I have birds at both locations. A helix 10 on the console and a helix 9 at the bow, both are si units. I use the si regularly on the console unit and occasionally on the bow. The one on bow gets used more after I've spotted something on the console and want to move in and examine something with the troller without over running the spot. So to put it simply...its invaluable at the console...and a handy feature at times in the bow.
