Usually only run at 5 or 6 power. It's a minnkota 2 bank charger that came with the boat.an the battery size is 29s. Not positive on the wire thickness was planning on putting thicker stuff on. It's a short distance to the trolling motor where the batters sit a foot max an the charger sits inside with the batteries. Corrosion isn't an issue.
