Hiya,

The overall construction of the tires are pretty much the same, but the quality is where things are different. I have had maxxis tires, Marathon tires, and currently run Tow Master tires from discount tire. All of the sets of tires have performed well for me and the only tire that I experienced a blow-out on was the marathon. They were about 5 years old as well.

The original tires (the maxxis) lasted the shortest amount of time, whereas my current tires (towmaster) have been on around 5 - 6 years. They are getting close to being due for change, but not from tread wear...but from age.

Tow max should do just fine, so long as they are properly inflated, have the correct weight capacity for your trailer, and your trailer axle is in alignment.
