I bought and installed my Ulterra 112 (replacing 4 year old Terrova 101) early this spring.

I fished with it twice early on with starting temps below 32°...but not much. No problems.

Stow and deploy is nice - it saves time - but to me the ability to trim up and down (I run shallow a lot to retrieve lures I've stuck in something).

Other comments: Quieter than my Terrova, both running and turning. Seems to turn faster, but that's subjective.

Spot Lock is about the same...maybe a little better.

Pulls a little stronger than the 101...not much, but a little.

Seems a little easier on the batteries.

One comment on the batteries: Make sure you've got a full charge, and charge it every night and that your batteries are in top shape. I had one of my three batteries that was getting weak...12 hour days on LOTW in June ran me to the point where the motor didn't stow properly on a couple of days.

Overall, the Ulterra is a better TM for me than the Terrova. Wondering about the Ultrex, and the new improved GPS functions in 2017.
