I have one three years now. Several improvements could be made by Lund.
Interior lighting poor, redid mine completely Wind is not your friend for accurate boat control Lockers leak when it rains hard Wiring under dash is very difficult to access Floor is extremely slippery when wet or slimy, carpeted bow is great Will not take rods greater than 8 ft. in the rod locker Merc 115 uses more gas than comparable Yamaha and takes longer to reach plane
I have boated well over a hundred muskies in this boat, but in a year or two I will be looking. Works great in heavy water. Been in 6 ftrs on the Wood and felt very safe
Mudpuppy That's more than likely your propping. If your holeshot is slow you are over-propped, and that's very hard on fuel economy too. Try one pitch lower, as in if it's a 19, go to a 17. I t also could be the model of propeller as well, aluminum VS stainlesss, 3 blade VS 4, etc. Your tach should be reading nearly 6K WOT.
Scrub the floor with Dawn dish detergent once in awhile, that will help.
