Yeah new battery time. But to picture what a sonar does to a battery I have a reference. A vexilar ice fishing sonar uses .5 amps per hour and a 9ah "amp hour" battery will run for 18 hours. A cranking battery with 800 cold cranking amps normally has about 100-120 ah, and my 959 takes .95 amps per hour "aph" 999 takes 1.15 aph and hds9t takes 1.20 aph. The three of them will run for 35-40 hours on a good condition battery in optimal conditions with no unintentional power loss. I could tell you how they test batteries to get those numbers but my poor grammar would tick off others haha it is cool though.
