Pretty sure the extra foot that the 1810 has is in the cockpit, but if you have the walk through with that it will probably make the front deck smaller. Otherwise the decks are the same size in both models, but you would have alot more room up front with the single console. If your musky fishing alot, i myself would get the 1710 with the side console.
