Well, I contacted noco. They gave me a 50% off coupon for a new one...so I upgraded to the 20a instead of the 8a and paid the same I did for the first one. MORE POWAH! Or, faster power...either way, its an upgrade.

Once I install the new one I will see if I can open up to replace the cord. I didnt even think of just putting a new plug on, that would have been the easiest solution. Oh well, too late now...if anyone is looking for an onboard charger I have a barely used one for sale.
