I’m thinking about adding a kicker to my 18’ aluminum deep v. I currently have a 70lb 24v powerdrive V2 I pilot that I use pretty much all of the time while casting for muskies or trolling for walleyes. My powerdrive will get the boat up to about 3.5mph but the 90hp idles around at about 5 mph. I haven't/don’t really troll for muskies much, but I’m thinking a kicker would be almost necessary if I wanted to. My question for you guys that have both, especially if you also troll bottom bouncers/cranks for walleyes too, is how much do you use your kicker compared to electric motor?
