Hey Guys -

Out in the MN metro this monring for musky opener my trolling motor quit working after a few hours. Wouldn't do anything. I originally thought something was wrong with the motor.

But now I figure the batteries are shot. They are 3 years old. Got them on the charger now for the past few hours and Everyhting works fine.

According to the charger they took a full charge last night and the meter on the Minkota said it was full.
So long story short I think they held a charge for a couple hours and then just bamn they died.

I don't have any way to test the batteries unless I take them to the store.

Does that make sense though if they hold a charge and then just literally die instead of slowly losing their charge?

Thanks - Midge
