3/4 ton all the way. they just don't seem to nickle and dime you to the poor house. I have 2001 sub with an 8.1 init and I put it through he77 coyote hunting and it is still tight . my 4th 3/4 ton . I will never buy a half ton again. oh my buddy just bought a new 3/4 ton truck cheaper than he could buy a 1/2 ton. and Sled ton or tonne , I don't care
