Probably an easy fix. Find the little hole on the front of your outboard and use a 1/16" drill bit and gently "drill it into the hole. Do not use a power drill ( you could damage the lower unit), but do it by hand by clamping the bit into a set of vice grips. Then just gently turn the bit into the hole. I just did mine and the bit went in about a 1.25" or so and got out a lot of crud. I then unhooked the line ( Hose) where it was spliced together at the front of my motor and blew it out. I blew in the gauge side of the hose and got the gauge to operate. So while I haven't tested it on the water I'm confident that it will work. This was on a Yamaha F150.
