my livewell is "dry" but they never stay completely dry. i've heard the same from a number of people who have done the same. you always have to make sure you air it out or things stored will get moldy. in my case they are plugged with silicone ...

i'm reversing the trend and enabling them again. never know when you might need to give a fish some air or throw a wild-card walleye into it. i've invested in the fancy small self-inflated life preservers to use them instead of storing them.
