Does anyone know if these things work on waters that aren't even shown on the map, such as a large reservoir being where the map shows land, or a river channel actually being a couple hundred yards from where the map shows?

I saw the Lindners doing this recently on an unmapped lake, or maybe it was someone else. I believe the process was, you record it, upload it to the system, and then it's incorporated into Lakemaster' system and they draw in the boundaries of the lake you mapped for them. Then it is part of their system and available to others as well. So, you paid them to map a lake for them. GENIUS!


That isn't correct....The whole point of auto chart is that you DO NOT have to upload it. Lowrance, Navionics, Insight Genesis, you have to upload and then your map becomes part of their mapping and everyone can get it.
