While ordering a new trailer for my row trolling boat I stumbled apon a tuffy x-170t and really seemed to like the boat and the price. I was planning on purchasing a larger deep v in the future and when looking at this boat I feel like it may be all I really need. I mainly fish the Boulder Junction area of Wisconsin and make a yearly trip to Lake Vermillion. The salesperson assured me it has a decent rough water capability and that the 40hp Yamaha it was rigged with was all it really needed. The boats rated for 50hp. I know several people on this forum own one and I was wondering their opinions now that the boats been out awhile? Anybody wish they bought more boat? I can afford a larger style fiberglass boat but if this will keep me happy and on the water I'd rather not make payments! Let me know your thoughts?
