Location: Spencer, Wisconsin		Just bought a new 2015 Dodge Ram this summer and with my old truck Silverado Z71 the drop was 2" compared to my new truck which is a 4" drop to get the boat level. Does not move a bit with the boat weight which is nice to predict bumps and dips in the road. I would agree with bturg's view point, to measure your drop and the height of the boat to get it level is probably the best rather than buying several hitches with different drops. Good luck
