I LOVE my Talon but it definitely adds weight. Also, I was surprised at how loud it is when it deploys and sometimes you gets some squeaking from flex in the housing. But it has definitely put more fish (bass) in the boat for me this year. The Powerpole is lighter and I've only used it once but it was noticeably quieter. Think if I'd have to do it again I would research the 10' Powerpole since I never even considered it when shopping. And the MK sandwich and tilt brackets are well over $200 each. I did buy my 12' Talon from Tackle Warehouse when they had a 20% sale and saved $400. |
