Location: pittsburgh, pa		Actually all you need the old chip for is to prove that you have had a premium or gold card before. You can still use that card. The new card you can put maps of anywhere in us and canada on that one card. You will outline the lake on the computer and download lake by lake or you can do region by region. I did lake by lake to save more room on the card. Once you plug it in and get on navionics website its pretty easy to do.
