I was a loyal Lund guy most of my life (had 5) and they all served me well and never had a hull or trailer related issue, I may even get one again if my fishing style changes. But like most of use we always seem to go bigger, and when I went bigger with my last Lund the freeboard created a massive sail affect, even with the new trolling motors and the advanced features like spot lock, etc it still was a sail. I made the switch to a Tuffy 1760 and oh my, what a difference in a positive way. It is like comparing being in a Tank versus a Porsche, the ride and stability are superior too. I personally would be concerned how a large hull like this would catch the wind as compared to the glass boats on the market today? As far as the issue of damaging glass vs aluminum, let me just say you learn to take a bit more pride in you equipment and institute a bit of TLC which isn't a bad thing. (Example: I never wiped down my Lunds when I was done, but with the New Tuffy I take the 5 minutes every time and wipe away the slim line - actually that is my sons job)

But that Lund sure has a nice layout, it's good to see the manufactures making what the guys want.

Have a great weekend everyone.
