Where I live people have never heard of some of the boat manufactures that supply lots of boats in the upper midwest. Resale value has a lot to do with location.


Good info. I had no idea Lund boats were a strictly upper midwest market. Somebody may want to advise them of this. My guess is that they'd be surprised.


Yeah....as someone who has seen a lot of boats in multiple states, I can say that Lund and Ranger are pretty much well known nation wide. Tracker? Not so much. I would also agree that Tuffy isn't as well known outside of the Midwest. But that isn't really surprising looking at their more targeted demographic.

Tracker doesn't make a "bad" boat. It's just not a coveted boat on the used market. Saw a handful of used trackers for sale when I was looking, and they could be had for much cheaper.
