I have a 2001 Chevy blazer with 140,000 miles on it and i tow a 17 1/2 foot tracker targa dv with no problems ,I'm the original owner and take great care of it. But my est. weight with 115 opti max and gear is about 3000 pounds. It has a 4.3 and is 4 wheel drive. I hope this helps.
