The old 619s, 620s and 680/690 boats had a front tank. It's not a significant handling issue, but they do tend to porpoise on a full tank of gas and loaded with gear. Knowing how to throttle and trim your motor will solve it in most cases. It's a super stable platform that will cut through the rough stuff. Even those older model Ranger hulls run/track/fish better than half of the new fiberglass boats on the market.
