Si works best while moving at a good speed like 3-5 mph. At say one mph you will want your graph speed as slow as it goes. You can use the si off the transom if your units can link or

You actually can have 360 images with a si ducer upfront. Say just go right side 90' and smoothly turn left and you will see what's Infront of you. Now it you have an electric steer tm you will need the chart speed higher. Still my post above is 2d and map.
