My first boat was a 1987 Ranger 1600 Vlll that had a broken keel and was in rough shape when my dad brought it home when I was 15. We spent all summer working on it with it turned upside down in the garage. We tore the trailer all apart and sandblasted and powder coated it. We re-did everything on that little boat and my brother and I caught lots or fish out of it.
