I looked at the FX series pretty closely. Overall good boat. I really like the hull and think their molding process is very good. Personally I'm not a fan of their interior layout. I prefer carpeted side storage to lay rods out, hard to do with their configuration. I'm a bass/multi-species guy and switch off between 4-5 primary rods (and my partner does too) all day long. Its impractical to go in/out of the center rod locker all day long with 8-10 rods IMO. This is a nit and just the way I fish. If you are a walleye or muskie guy that fishes primarily 1-2 rods, not a big deal. Again, overall good boat..

Is it true that the 1750 no longer comes in a side console - just a tiller or dual console?
