what i learned from those who know a heck of alot more than me is by maxing out or close and it doesnt matter if it is a 4 stroke or 2 stroke or what brand and you're not under powered and run it at an optimum cruising speed instead of having to be at full throttle to acheive a trim and decent speed is the key and an efficient glass hull with a pad adds alot to the formula.
not really much diff than pulling a boat with proper gearing and a big v8 vs a 6.
