I agree; I would want to see it in action before spending that kind of money first but I bet it comes down in price soon. Give it 1-2 years. I really think the most revolutionary advancements in fishing recently and in the future are with sonar/GPS. It is getting ridiculously amazing with gps, sidescan, spot lock, ipilot, DIY mapping and panoptix. I love it. Just wish wish I could upgrade every year now.
