Again my point is....DO NOT buy the Ford F150 Ecoboost simply for mileage improvement. If you do, you most likely will be unimpressed. BUY IT for the ride and performance of that same Ecoboost. It is simply better than ANY (yep....any) V8 in a truck I have ever driven. This is tough for a big V8 fan like me to say.....but it's true.

Now I am not talking here about raw towing capacity, or thundering sound. What do I care if my Ecoboost is rated at 10,000 pounds and some diesel is at 12,000. (My trailer is only 4,000). I am speaking to the driving experience and ability to (within that experience) move my trailer. This is one terrific engine to drive. I really did not think that would be the case.
