The Eco-boost Costs $1000 more too. It will take time to re-coup that difference. If you are towing 8000lb + loads on a regular basis, eco-boost is worth it. Towing a 4000lb boat every now and then, get the 5.0 . The power band on the eco-boost is what makes it a better motor for towing. Max TQ is available almost from idle. The 5.0 has to be revved up to almost 4000 RPM to get max power.
