Get some fiberglass gell w/ hardner at local auto parts store & seal the scratches & any holes that are through the gell coat, if not you are going to have problems as described, e.g., from water ingress into the fiber glass - thats what is causing his bubbles. Just follow instructions on the can - try to keep right ratio of hardner to gell so it sets up properly....a little less hardner is better than to much.

Envirotex will work too, its a gell based product in smaller packages, e.g., if you only need a little for repairs of minor stuff.

You definitely need to get those bubbles fixed too.

All: This is something you need to watch for when buying used glass boats...or if you own one!
