Hey guys! Need a little direction here. Picked up 1995 Ranger last month and wanted to replace the keel guard for the fact it was peeling in two different spots. Once I started removing, noticed the keel was pretty bad and the gel coat was completely gone. Also noticed toward the rear the gel coat was bubbling and had chipped off in a couple of spots about the size of a pee. Should I be worried about the keel with the gel coat scrapped off from rocks I amgine, or just put a new keel guard on??? And the pee size spots in the back, should those be a worry?? If so, my question is WHO does good work in the Twin Cities at a reasonable price???
Thanks in advance and hope to have this baby ready for the Muskie opener!!
