Trim the engine up as you power up. The boat should 'rock' easily right and left when trimmed properly.

High performance hull; it's designed to run trimmed up quite a bit. Hit the throttle, trimming it up until it feels a little loose. Trim it down most of the way and you are going to have some prop torque which the power steering will handle, but you can 'feel' the steering torque.
