"Cutting corners" does NOT = buying an alternative to the manufacturers spec....why? Because its all about marketing! NAPA will sell you ALL the grease, oils, fluids you need specifically made for your engines at a lower cost and possibly better quality. AND quite possibly made by the same production line... And NO, the manufacturer will not void your warranty for not using the specific brand they want you to use; its about the specific recommended rating of the product....exe: FC-W in marine 4 stroke engines like my Hondas.
