Location: WESTERN WI | I ended up recutting all tubes with a oscillating cutting tool (it fit in the cramped space and was able to change angle of blade to cut ALL 12 tubes, make sure all wiring is out of the way) as I could not access the lower 6 tubes as the top 6 were over them. I got cleaner cuts than previous methos (box cutter) and hand sanded the edges so rods, lines, rod cover would not be catching or receive a nick. So where the 6 7'6" tubes were I can fit rods just over 8' long & where the 8' tubes are I can fit rods up to 9' (some slots are more accommodating as the hull tapers to a "V") I plan on keeping rod covers on all for extra protection and prevent and possible tangling. This took a a few hours overall but can easily store all my rods up to 9' (05 620) |
