Location: Medford, WI		Does anyone know the years and sizes of motors that are "compatible" with each other? I have an '88 Evinrude 40hp longshaft with a bad lower unit. Chance to pick up an early '80's Evinrude 35hp very local for cheap.

Just wondering if anybody could help to let me know if parts would be interchangeable.
