What size is your main motor? I'd recommend a dual purpose battery, cranking and deep cycle. I had a group 27 Interstate in my 1890 with a 200 Optimax, and it started that motor no problem, and lasted all day with the livewell, and electronics running. Also had a Trojan on my previous boat.

As an FYI, marine batteries use MCA, or Marine Cranking Amps as their rating. Optimax requires minimum of 1000 MCA. Difference in MCA vs CCA? MCA is rated at 32degrees F, and CCA is at 0 degrees F.

I don't know who makes the Bass Pro battery, but Northern has good history.
