As said new chargers should have no problems but there is another thing to look into. at a Yamaha sales seminar this winter their vp said their alternators will not charge AGM batteries. I assume that he meant not totally charge and I have not found out about other motor brands but its probably the same across the board. If you do have enough banks on your charger no problem but don't forget to plug in. Ive got a 2 bank so im sticking to lead acid even tho I run an Etec, better safe than sorry with all the electronics running off the starting battery. Bill
